Hoverboard That Flies For 30 Minutes Could Be Available By Summer’s End

Earlier this week, a video showing a guy floating over a city street on a hoverboard gained serious traction on the Internet. If you’ve got the cash, at the end of this summer, you could be doing it, too. Omni Hoverboards says they’re getting ready to bring it to the marketplace, and it could be ready to fly…literally…in a few months. It won’t be cheap, though. Pricing is still “a work in progress,” but their ten-propellor model is estimated to sell at “around $36K.” Reportedly, Omni is also working on an eight-propellor model that should go for a much more affordable $27K.
