When you’re out for a night on the town and your wallet is stolen, you probably don’t expect to ever see it again. Ryan Seymour doesn’t even clearly remember his wallet being stolen after he accidentally left it in a restroom stall at a Scottish pub in 2001.
Fast forward all these years later...and imagine his surprise when he got a message from his local police asking if he had lost a wallet. The police reached out to him on Facebook to let him know someone had turned his wallet in after it was found in a bush near the pub where it was stolen.
Even better? When he picked it up from the police station, he found just about everything still inside, including his old ID, his old employee pass, and an expired VHS rental card. Well, almost everything; as you would expect, the money that had been in the wallet was missing.
