The second named storm of the year is churning in the Atlantic.
Forecasters say Tropical Storm Bill isn't expected to be a powerful or long lasting storm. Right now, it's about 335 miles east of North Carolina and won't threaten the U.S. at all. Ana was the first named storm of 2021 and developed in May.
A tropical disturbance in the Gulf of Mexico is also being watched for development. Forecasters say this hurricane is expected to be above average.
