Congratulations are in order for Celina Smith. The 12-year-old has been chosen for the starring role in NBC’s “Annie Live” after a nationwide talent search. While her only TV credit was on Tyler Perry’s Nickelodeon show, “Young Dylan,” she toured with “The Lion King” as Young Nala. She joins a star-studded cast that includes Taraji P Henson, Harry Connick, Jr., Nicole Scherzinger, and Tituss Bergess.
