Ever wanted to slam back a Duff Beer at Moe’s Tavern? You’ll have your chance starting Friday at Springfield Mall in Delaware County, Pennsylvania as a pop-up replica of Moe’s Tavern from “The Simpsons” is opening. The pop-up tavern will have a Simpsons-inspired menu, including Homer’s Chicken Tenders, Moe’s Magic Mushrooms, and Barney’s Mozzarella Sticks.
It won’t be free to go in, but one of the menu items, a beverage, and a commemorative patch, and a key ring are all included in the price. The tavern is as close to a perfect copy of Homer’s favorite hangout as they can make it; JMC Pop Ups founder Joe McCullough says he’s holding the event at a mall because they’ve been impacted by the pandemic.
