In an attempt to appear more wholesome and less superficial, the Miss America Pageant has made a bold move. Rather than focusing on “physical beauty,” the pageant organizers now say they’ll be judging the “health” of the contestants. The question is, however, how does someone judge someone else’s health in that environment. Ideally, the ladies would have to jog on a treadmill while wearing heels and strapped to heart and blood pressure monitors. That, at least, would be fun to watch…and great for viral video possibilities.
