September is National Preparedness Month, and one beer maker wants to make sure our pets are included.
Anheuser-Busch is expanding its disaster relief and preparedness efforts to include those with four legs. The brewer is teaming up with American Humane and the Red Cross to launch its "Prepare for Your Pets" campaign that will run throughout September.
This will include employing its social media platforms to share disaster preparedness resources. The focus will be on teaching folks how to better prepare for disaster not only for themselves, but their four-legged family members too.
Anheuser-Busch will also replenish its emergency drinking water supply, donate 200-thousand-dollars to American Humane, and add pet shelters to its emergency drinking water distribution.
American Humane says “Ensuring you have an evacuation plan that includes your pets will not only help save the lives of our beloved animals but also the lives of owners, volunteers, and first-responders. We are grateful for Anheuser-Busch’s support in helping to communicate this important message.”
