There’s going to be a mass dog wedding in Chicago.
Organizers hope to bring in over 178 doggie couples for the ceremony on Saturday. Leslie Allison-Seei, chair of the Villa Park Community Focus on Unifying Neighbors Commission, got the idea when she participated in one in 2008. It fell short.
There will be an officiant at the ceremony and if someone brings a single dog, there will be speed dating set up to pair the right pups.
The record is 178 pooch pairs, set in 2007 in Littleton, Colorado.
