It’s Nissin’s 50th anniversary and to celebrate the occasion the company is bringing back two Cup Noodles flavors that are straight from the 80s and 90s. They include two former fan favorites from 1983 and 1991 –Pork Chowder flavor from 1983 and Pork Scallop Chicken flavor from 1991. The Pork Chowder noodles contain slow-cooked pork pieces, cabbage, onions and descrambled eggs all in a thick ramen soup. The Pork Scallop Chicken noodles have scallop-flavored fish cakes, eggs, bok choy, pork, carrots and cloud ear mushrooms in a soy sauce soup base.
The product introduction launches today exclusively at 7-Eleven stores in Japan for the equivalent of $1.94 USD and come in a “BIG” size.
