Most Expensive McDonald’s Menu Items In The World

For lots of folks, McDonald’s is a cheap, quick meal. Maybe so, but that’s not the case everywhere in the world. In fact,“Expensivity” just conducted a survey of the most expensive McDonald’s meal in every country around the world. Some of the findings might surprise you. But let’s start low – as in the cheapest Happy Meal in the world is found in Pakistan…and costs $2.11.

  • Lebanon –A Big Mac will set you back $21.89, but their Grand Chicken Special? It’s officially the Most Expensive McDonald’s item in the world…costing $27.19. What’s that? A Chicken sandwich. It’s described as a “thick, crispy Halal chicken patty” and it’s topped with a handful of crispy lettuce, Rocca (it’s like arugula), tomato slices, two slices of Emmental cheese(it’s similar to Swiss)and a slice of chicken roll(like bologna, but chicken), doused with a grainy, gourmet dressing sauce and served on a soft, water split bun.
  • France/ Monaco: Signature Charolais & Sauce Aux 2 Moutardes. For $14.38, you get a steak burger on their signature bun, topped with lettuce tomatoes and red onion as well as a special cheddar cheese and two types of mustard sauce.
  • Switzerland/Liechtenstein: Their Big Tasty Smokey Double Bacon burger will set you back $13.56. Norway’s version of that burger? It’ll cost you $13.36.
  • Israel: Their Mega Tokyo Burger includes Asian barbecue sauce and fried mushrooms…and will cost you $13.48
  • InThe Netherlands, a Double Quarter Pounder with Cheese costs $12.54
  • Germany’s Signature Surf ‘n’ Turf, which features breaded shrimp, avocado cream, and bacon? It has a price tag of $12.18
  • Venezuela’s Doble McTocineta Cheddar(their bacon double cheeseburger)costs $10
  • Denmark’s Homestyle x Henrik Jyrk Tokyo Teriyaki was developed in collaboration with gourmet chefHenrik Jyrk. It’s a beefy steak burger, crispy onion rings, teriyaki sauce, iceberg lettuce, onion and mustard mayo - all nestled in a soft brioche bun. It’s costs $9.55.
  • Luxembourg’s Big Tasty Bacon? It’ll set you back $9.17
