Heinz has just introduced a new product that is unlike any product in recent memory…you can even say it’s “out of this world.” Heinz has debuted Heinz Tomato Ketchup Marz Edition. What’s the big deal?
The company has partnered with 14 astrobiologists from the Aldrin Space Institute at Florida Tech to recreate soil, temperature and water conditions on the planet Mars’ harsh conditions. hey then grew tomatoes from the brand’s proprietary tomato seeds to create the special ketchup. The only bad news? It’s not not available for purchase…yet.
Heinz Tomato Ketchup has already been served for many years to astronauts on the International Space Station (ISS) and aims to use 100% sustainably sourced Heinz Ketchup tomatoes by 2025 to support its commitment to environmental social governance (ESG) goals.
