Now that the gifts have been given, it's time for the season of holiday returns.
People are expected to send or take back some 67 billion dollars worth of items for replacement or refund. Some experts estimate this will cost retailers an average of two-thirds of their original cost based on the fact that many items can't be refurbished, recycled or resold.
