The prophecies of Nostradamus, published in 1555, continue to draw attention every year, thanks in part to the intentionally vague way they’re written. Several of his predictions are being said to apply to 2022, including those that include inflation, starvation, artificial intelligence, droughts, floods, and the rise of cryptocurrency.
Some of those, of course, are easy to predict if you’ve paid attention to 2021, but they’re still scary. One of the predictions on the list includes “So high the price of wheat, that man is stirred, his fellow man to eat in his despair.” No matter what you believe, at least some of them are already looking more like fact than prophecy.
