A Russia space rocket launch started well on December 27th, but hasn’t ended well.
The Angara A5, a heavy-lift launch vehicle, took off smoothly but the upper stage rocket failed to fire and now, instead of orbiting, the rocket is tumbling back to Earth.
An expert pins the reentry for tomorrow night at 10:56 ET. Of course that could be off by 25 hours. At this point, it’s either going to strike an uninhabited area or somewhere in the U.S.
