Hell Is When Your Name Is “Kovid”

Whenever life has you down, it’s sometimes good to put yourself in someone else’s shoes to give yourself a dose of reality. A perfect example of that is Kovid Kapoor. For the past two-and-a-half years, Kovid’s life has been turned on its ear, and he can’t go anywhere without someone making a comment about his unfortunate name. A Starbucks, he must use a fake name. When he uses Google, he must make it clear that he meant to spell “Kovid” with a “K.” Even on his 30th birthday there was no escape when his friends got him a cake that said, “Happy Birthday COVID-30.” Source: Kovid Kapoor
