After many fast food chains sidelined promotions during the pandemic, some are bringing back popular value meals, but with hiked-up prices.
Restaurants like Little Caesars, Popeyes, and Domino's Pizza have adjusted their well-known deals so they no longer get as much bang for your buck, due to rising food costs and labor costs.
To give you an idea of what’s up, breakfast value meal prices are up 19.6-percent and snack value meals saw their prices rise 11.5-percent.
Domino's Pizza CEO Ritch Allison also says he understands the cost increases are tough to absorb for some. Meanwhile, on Chick-fil-A's app, there's a warning to customers saying that due to the ongoing supply-chain crisis, some menu items may be unavailable.
Inflation is also taking a toll on sit-down dining, with soaring costs for fast-food restaurant essentials like ketchup or straws.
