An NBA legend and his daughter are forever being remembered.
A statue of Kobe Bryant and Gianna now stands at the place where they died in California. It was added to the helicopter crash site yesterday, marking the two-year anniversary. Seven others perished with them.
Sculptor Dan Medina created the piece that shows father and daughter in their basketball uniforms looking at each other with big smiles and includes the names of the seven other victims. The inscription reads "Heroes come and go but legends are forever."
The statue will only be at the site temporarily, according to Medina.
