Sarah Jessica Parker, Bette Midler, and Kathy Najimy are reprising their roles as The Sanderson Sisters for "Hocus Pocus 2." It's slated to premiere on Disney+ this fall, and it looks like timing for that is right on track.
Filming has wrapped for the sequel, per Midler herself. She tweeted late on Wednesday, "THAT’S A WRAP!!!!" Back in October, the film's crew was seen at La Salle Academy in Providence, Rhode Island. Fans also noticed that Rhode Island's Chase Fram park, "Lincoln" was turned into 1670's New England for shooting of the film.
The plot of the sequel is, “Three young women accidentally bring the Sanderson sisters back to modern-day Salem and must figure out how to stop the child-hungry witches from wreaking a new kind of havoc on the world.”
