Over 31M Will Wager $7.6B On Super Bowl

Numbers from the American Gaming Association show the Super Bowl continues to be the number one sports betting event of the year. This year, a record 31.4M American adults say they plan on placing at least one bet on the game. Even more impressive, that’s expected to equate to $7.61-billion shelled out on those bets…and increase of $3.33-billion wagered last year. As far as the big spenders, we already know “Mattress Mack” has put down $4.5-million on the Bengals, but there are other big bets to take note of.

  • $522,500 on the Rams at -4
  • $250K on the Rams on the -200 moneyline
  • $200K on the Bengals at +4.5
  • $180K on the Rams on the -180 moneyline
  • $110K on the Bengals at +4.5
  • $105K on the Rams at -4
