There has been a major recall of 14 ice cream product brands produced by Royal Ice Cream Company due to a possible listeria contamination.
Here is a list of the affected products – if you have any of these in your freezer you are instructed to throw them away or return them to the store where they were purchased. All were produced at the same plant and have a code of CT121 or CT#121.
- Pints of all flavors of these brands: Batch, Maple Valley Ice Cream, Art Cream, Gelato Fiasco and Sweet Scoops Yogurt
- All flavors Pints and three-gallon containers: Ronny Brook Ice Creams
- Pints and 2.5-gallon containers: New Orleans Ice Creams
- All pints, half gallons, cakes and specialties: Royal Ice Cream Brand
- All containers: Newport Creamery’s Crazy Vanilla, Van & Choc and Vanilla & Coffee HG
There has also been a recall of ice cream sandwiches from Biggy Iggy’s, Giffords, Munson, Chewy Louie and Snow Wich so check your freezer for any of the above products.
