Kal Penn is hopping on “The Santa Clause” train.
He’s inked a deal to join the Disney+ series as Santa, played by Tim Allen, looks for a successor. Elizabeth Mitchell, Mrs. Clause in the films, is also set to return.
Kal will play Simon Choski, a single father and an ambitious game inventor and product developer who visits the North Pole.
