Ellen DeGeneres is making sure her staffers are taken care of now that “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” is ending. She’s reportedly giving out “millions of dollars” in bonuses.
According to an insider, the talk show host and Warner Bros. worked together to make sure that every person was taken care of. While the exact seven-figure sum wasn’t disclosed, the source declared: “It was not even a question for Ellen to cover bonuses … That was very important to her.”
It’s also been reported that Warner Bros. plans to extend healthcare coverage for six months after the show ends on May 26th. And the staff – about 30 percent of whom have been there for over a decade – can also get access to resume building and networking workshops to help them find their next gig.
