Here’s welcome news: the price at the pump is going down.
Gas prices are now below four dollars a gallon in 17 states, according to the Triple-A stations survey. The national average price for regular remains at four dollars and 23 a gallon, but it continues to fall at the state level.
Missouri, at three-76 a gallon, leads 17 states where the statewide average is less than four bucks a gallon. The pain at the pump keeps getting worse in California where the statewide average is now up to five-88 a gallon.
