It’s never too late to learn a new skill, but a 53-year-old woman in Massachusetts appears to need a more practice before getting her driver’s license. The unnamed woman recently got her learner’s permit and was reportedly practicing driving Saturday afternoon in the Wyoming Cemetery in the town of Melrose when police say she confused the gas pedal with the brakes and rammed into a row of tombstones, knocking eight of them over and damaging the car. Melrose Police Lieutenant David Mackey says no crime was committed, but as to the woman? “It was an older woman who just never learned to drive, apparently just recently got her permit, and probably shouldn’t have.”
