Kellogg’s has decided to bring back 90s fave Frosted Grape Pop-Tarts. They’ll be just like the ones everyone remembers from a couple of decades ago with white icing, grape jelly flavored filling and the purple crunch that gave them a great reputation.
“At Pop-Tarts, we know what our fans want,” says Heidi Ray, Senior Director of Marketing, Portable Wholesome Snacks at Kellogg’s. “We could not be more stoked to finally bring back this Pop-Tarts G.O.A.T. – Grape-ist Of All Time.”
The company is also asking fans to get in on the fun by “frosting” their hair grape – highlights, extensions, pomades, or even a full head of purple hair (it can be a wig). The first 50 Fans that share their Frosted Grape look on Instagram using #Y2GrapeEntry will get a year’s supply of the Frosted Grape Pop Tarts and a Y2Grape Time Capsule that’s filled with nostalgic Y2K items including a gift card to purchase:
- Purple jelly sandals
- Throwback butterfly hair clips
- Juicy grape lip gloss
- Purple purse
- Purple hat
- Metallic jelly pens
