If you get packages delivered by the Postal Service, expect to wait longer.
It’s part of a plan to cut costs and not rely on air transportation. Air transport is more expensive than trains and trucks, so the U.S. Postmaster General wants to dump that method.
Only a third of deliveries will be affected, adding one to two days to the delivery date.
The change goes into effect May 1st.
