Van Leeuwen's New Ice Cream Flavor For Hello Kitty’s 50th Anniversary

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the introduction of Sanrio’s beloved character Hello Kitty, American ice cream parlor chain Van Leeuwen Ice Cream is introducing a limited-edition flavor, Yummy Berry White Chocolate Truffle Ice Cream, available for one day on July 21st. The special flavor features white chocolate ice cream with truffle brownie pieces and red raspberry jam, designed to evoke Hello Kitty’s iconic hair bow. In addition to the new flavor, Van Leeuwen and Sanrio are hosting a Hello Kitty-themed pop-up event in New York City’s Tribeca neighborhood on the same day. A portion of the profits from the sales will be donated to charitable organizations, adding a philanthropic touch to the celebration.
