Dollywood Website Crashed As Fans Look For Ways To Honor Dolly Parton

Fans of Dolly Parton flocked to the Dollywood website yesterday after her death and crashed the site. It wasn’t down for long and when it popped back up, there was a statement on the main page from Dollywood president Eugene Naughton honoring his “Dreamer-in-Chief,” saying, “Dolly’s heart was as vast as the mountains she cherished, and her compassion knew no bounds. She inspired generations to dream boldly and love deeply.” He also announced that following Dolly’s wishes, the park would remain open. Naughton also encouraged fans to donate to her Imagination Library. Fans gathered on Reddit and other sites wondering if they should make a trip to the park to honor the late icon and the answers were the same…absolutely. So be prepared for large crowds if you venture to the amusement park.
