Girl with 3D arm to throw World Series first pitch

#WhatsAwesome is a 7-year-old girl with a 3D-printed prosthetic hand to throw out the first pitch at the World Series game! Hailey Dawson was born with Poland Syndrome, a birth defect that limited her right hand to a palm, little pinky and thumb with only cartilage, no bone. Students at the University of Nevada in Las Vegas helped give Hailey a functional hand that operates on wrist movement. The A’s expressed sincere interest with bringing Hailey out to the Coliseum, but the game she’ll appear in has yet to be released.
