Jason Aldean plays first show since Vegas tragedy

Jason Aldean returned to the stage for his first full show since the Las Vegas tragedy. Aldean was on stage when a gunman opened fire from a hotel window, killing 58 concert goers and injuring over 500 others.

Aldean resumed his They Don’t Know Tour at BOK Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, 11 days after the Route 91 Harvest Festival. “I want this not to be something that’s going to be a downer for the  rest of the night,” Aldean told the audience.

“I want to play the show for you guys that the people in  Las Vegas came to see and didn’t get a chance to.”

Jason Aldean made an appearance on Saturday Night Live last week with an opening monologue and performance of Tom Petty's "Won't Back Down".
