Multiple Sources Suggest ABC Ditched 'Last Man Standing' Over Politics, Not Ratings

INJOFrom the very first episode of ABC's hit comedy “Last Man Standing,” comedian Tim Allen made it clear that he was not afraid to take potshots at liberal ideals. He even landed direct hits on former President Barack Obama and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

  • ABC's second most-watched comedy behind “Modern Family”
  • 8.1 million viewers in the “Live +7” category

This time, there was no negotiating or bargaining, with ABC simply deciding against another season.

But many seem convinced that that move was political.
