A carnival worker at the Greensboro fair in North Carolina fell to the ground trying to rescue two children after a ferris wheel malfunctioned Friday night.
The carriage carrying the two children began tilting and rocking, so the worker tried to help by climbing the ride. He followed safety procedures by safely unloading all passengers, according to a statement made by the fair.
In the video captured by witnesses, the man can be seen trying to adjust the ferris cart back into place before losing his footing. Fortunately, the man did not have any serious injures from the fall.
The children were later brought down to safety without injuries. The ride is now functioning again today since it passed a safety inspection.
