Researchers Are Working On An Electronic Nose To Detect Bad Food In Fridge

The days of guessing what in your fridge is spoiled may be coming to an end! Researchers at the University of California, Berkeley are working on an electronic nose that can detect food spoilage more accurately than humans. The nose uses 16 miniature gas sensors that react to different airborne compounds. So far the nose has only tested individual food items, so next up is dishes with multiple ingredients.
