Myspace May Be Coming Back

The first social media site is apparently making a return at some point and the internet is buzzing. Myspace launched in 2003 with everyone having the same friend, Tom Anderson, the company’s CEO. Now Chris and Tim Vanderhook, whose company acquired Myspace in 2011, say they plan to relaunch the once-dominant social media platform. Well…they are hinting at it. The brothers spilled the tea in Tommy Avallone’s recent documentary “Myspace,” but haven’t shared firm plans. They do note "We still own Myspace. We are going to relaunch Myspace. We’re just waiting for the right time to do it." The old version allowed heavy customization outside of the top eight friends list, but there’s no word on if that will still be the case.
