The race is on to colonize the moon, complete with space shuttle gas stations. U.S. Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross believes the future of commercial space travel largely depends on how successful the U.S. is at making the moon into a "gas station for outer space."
President Trump previously emphasized his administration would focus on private space projects. Mr. Ross reported the Trump administration is attempting to quickly deregulate space explorations, but says regulatory changes need to match technological advances.
