Amelia Earhart’s Car Was Stolen

When a car once belonged to an historic icon and it’s worth major bucks, people notice it.  That’s why this story has a happy ending.

Authorities say they've finally found Amelia Earhart's car.  A 1932 Hudson that was owned by the legendary aviator was reported stolen in Los Angeles Friday.  The LAPD says the vintage car was discovered Monday night parked in an eastside neighborhood.  The new owner of Amelia's car says the rare vehicle is one of only 14 that still exist.  Amelia Earhart herself was never found, after disappearing during a solo flight across the Pacific in 1937.

The car is worth $500,000.
