Best part of it all? The original stars Dolly Parton, Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin are all eager for this remake to happen.
As for now, 20th Century Fox is in the early stages of a new version that focuses on three young women dealing with sexism in the workplace.
They then will turn to the original trio for help in navigating and getting even with the higher-up males.
Producers would like Rashida Jones to write the script for the reboot.
Dolly Parton had a huge hit with the title song and then the movie was turned into a Broadway musical in 2009.
As for Jane and Lily, they currently star in the Netflix comedy "Grace and Frankie."
