Flippy the burger-flipping robot is now taking orders at a California burger joint, Caliburger. The restaurant’s CEO John Miller says it's all part of their plan to remain consistent and to know that “the patty will be cooked exactly the same,” whichever location you go to. The robot runs on thermal imaging and 3D technology so it knows when to flip. Flippy does need a little help from a human friend. The human first puts the patty on the grill and then lets Flippy do its thing.
