A Shanghai mom had been locked out of her iPhone for 47 years after giving it to her toddler to use. Her two-year-old son was given the phone to watch “educational videos.” Somewhere along the way the boy entered the wrong passcode so many times, it locked the phone for 25-million minutes or 47 years.
No one certainly has 47 years to wait for a phone to unlock and neither does this mom, who goes by her family name Lu. “I couldn’t really wait for 47 years and tell my grandchild it was your father’s mistake,” Lu joked. Her only options were to wait that long or wipe the phone and do a factory reset. So far she’s waited two months for the situation to rectify itself.
