American Exchange Students Start Fire With Pasta

Three American exchange students in Italy started a fire after trying to cook pasta without water. The ladies reportedly bought the package of pasta, stuck it in a pot and lit the stove and the pasta caught fire within minutes.  One of the girls says she didn’t know pasta needed water to cook which prompted one chef to take matters into his own hands.  Florentine chef Fabio Picchi offered the girls to take four hours of cooking lessons in his restaurant where they’ll have lunch and learn to cook by two of his chefs.  Chef Picchi says, "They will teach them the simple basics that are very good if done well.  I think this can be useful to them, but also to us.  Understanding is what is beautiful and necessary."
