It would appear that half of Hollywood was in attendance for Gwyneth Paltrow and Brad Falchuk’s engagement party at the Los Angeles Theater on Saturday. The star-studded black-tie event has even had some speculating it was actually a secret wedding. Falchuck’s “Glee” and “American Horror Story” partner Ryan Murphy helped organize the 400-person black-tie celebration, but given its fancy attire, is it possible the pair said “I do?” Maaaaaybe.
Here’s what we know for sure:
- The venue’s marquee boasted the messages: “GP Loves BF” and “BF Loves GP.”
- Paltrow’s mom, Blythe Danner was spotted carrying a Monique Lhuillier dress bag out of the party. Though it’s not known for sure what was inside the bag, Monique is known for her bridal designs and reportedly she’s a celeb fave.
- Next, all of Paltrow’s friends were there including Cameron Diaz who also planned her recent bachelorette party in Mexico. Reese Witherspoon, Kate Hudson, Jennifer Aniston, and Julia Robertswere also at the bash.
- Someone who wasn’t in attendance was Paltrow’s ex-hubby Chris Martin. The two have reportedly remained close since their split.
Though the night seemed like a huge deal, no one's saying anything and no one's confirmed anything. And there's still the rumor that they’ll actually say “I do” in the Hamptons later on in the year. We'll keep you posted.
