A Long Lost Wallet Is Found During Public Pool Renovations

The hunt is on for the owner of a wallet lost decades ago.

A wallet lost in 1972 has been found in a pool locker room in Wenatchee, Washington. A work crew was updating the city's public pool facility when they found the leather wallet that was lost 46 years ago. The wallet was tucked behind the boy's lockers in the changing room.

Inside the item, there were a few family pictures and a Boy Scouts card identifying Harry LaRue of Eastern Wenatchee as the owner. A reporter for the "Wenatchee World" is attempting to find Harry as the city of Wenatchee keeps the wallet for safekeeping.
