An obituary for an 80-year-old woman from Springfield, Minnesota, has gone viral because of its scathing tone.
At first the obituary, published in the Redwood Gazette, reads like many others — stating where Kathleen Dehmlow was born and the names of her family members — before abruptly taking a downward turn.
"In 1962 she became pregnant by her husband's brother," the obituary reads. It adds that she moved to California and, "She abandoned her children, Gina and Jay who were then raised by her parents."
