This would be the couple's 7th child, and after speaking with him at The Country Music Party at Apple Blossom last month, he was very excited.
When you meet Walker, you get the vibe that he is a family man thru and thru, and just how much he loves his wife and children. Today his family is grieving. The couple's 7th child was due on June 8th, and because of how quickly Walker's wife's labor has been in the past, they had planned for a home birth. Yesterday though, Walker posted that their child, Oakleigh Klover Hayes, had been born and passed away on June 6th. No further details have been given at this time, and we offer our prayers and condolences.
The couple and their family are asking for your thoughts and prayers as well as privacy for time to grieve.
