The holidays are just around the corner and this may be the time where you start thinking about "just HOW am I going to afford it all this year?"
Peak shopping season obviously doesn't begin until Black Friday, but that doesn't mean you don't want to be ready. Several companies are bulking up their staff for the holidays.
United Parcel Service said they were looking to hire about 100,000 temporary employees beginning in November.
FedEx said it was onboarding 55,000 workers.
Kohls is looking for 67,000 seasonal employees, and Walmart is looking for 60,000 people.
Target is hiring 120,000 seasonal workers. That's a 20 percent increase from last year. Target will hold hiring events at its stores nationwide from Oct. 12 through Oct. 14.
