AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Freezing rain. Up to a tenth of an inch of freezing

rain is expected. Around two tenths of an inch of freezing

rain is expected over the crest of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

* WHERE...Portions of central Maryland, northern and northwest

Virginia and the eastern panhandle of West Virginia.

* WHEN...Until 1 PM EST this afternoon.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The

hazardous conditions will impact the morning commute.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of freezing rain

will cause travel difficulties. Expect slippery roads. Slow down

and use caution while driving.
