Cooking Channel Show, "Carnival Eats," Eyeing Apple Blossom Festival Midway

Back in November of 2018, the Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival® was approached by a representative of the Cooking Channel’s highly-rated program, “Carnival Eats.” They expressed great interest in the Festival’s Old Town Midway and its array of food vendors. The following is part of an email received at that time:

“To tell you a bit about us, Carnival Eats is the #1 rated original series on the Cooking Channel. Each year our host, Noah Cappe, travels the continent visiting fairs and festivals, highlighting the delicious and creative foods each has to offer. We’re something like Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives, but rather than visiting restaurants, our host visits three to four food vendors at each fair/festival, to learn how to make one special dish they’ll be serving. We also highlight fun aspects of each fair and film great interactions between Noah and fair-goers.”

The Festival knows that the program has been contacting its food vendors; but, is unsure at this time how this interaction will play out. Bloom Fans will want to check out the Old Town Midway to see if “Carnival Eats” is filming on site; or, at least check out the scene to see what it is that piqued their interest in the first place!
