97-Year-Old D-Day Veteran Parachutes For 75th Anniversary of D-DAY

Age is just a number!

This 97-Year-Old Veteran parachuted into Normandy, France for D-Day Anniversary.

The last time he completed this mission was 75 years ago, so times are a little different now.

Tom Rice jumped into the same area he landed on in 1944 during World War II.

When jumping with the 101st Airborne Division, he landed safely but was also struck by a bullet.

He said his WWII jump was the worst jump he ever had.

The reason for jumping one last time at 97 years old was so that he could get closure for the amount of destruction and damage that bothered him and his fellow soldiers.
