Today we get to hear songs Prince wrote for other artists done his way.
Prince's posthumous album, “Originals,” hits the shelves today. It includes songs he wrote for other artists from 1981 to '91, the original version of “Nothing Compares 2 U,” “Manic Monday” and other tracks. The demos show a different take on the tracks than we’re used to and definitely showcase the Purple One’s signature confidence.
The album originally premiered on Jay-Z's Tidal music service. This year marks three years since Prince's death.
