With Hurricane Dorian approaching the Florida coast, reporters were out in full force looking to get interviews from residents who might be affected by the storm. One reporter came across a man who might be on to something.
Tyler Vasquez found a resident of a mobile home park along the east coast of Florida and asked the man about his thoughts on the approaching hurricane. The man brought up an interesting question saying, “I can’t see how they haven’t come up with some kind of way to combat these storms yet." He added, “They keep saying, two days ago, three days ago, ‘Oh … it’s gonna hit all this warm weather. All this warm weather and warm water."
But maybe his best comments came from his idea on how to combat these storms. “We have a Navy. Why don’t the Navy come and drop ice in the warm water so it can’t get going as fast as it’s going? There’s gotta be ways to combat this instead of just point at the thing and saying, ‘Well, now it’s getting worse!’ Yeah, we know it’s getting worse!”
The video has gone viral and a number of people have added their thoughts to what this Florida man suggested.
